Overseas exhibitions can be great fun
There are literally hundreds of property seminars, shows and exhibitions every year throughout the UK. These range from small presentations billed as exhibitions in small hotel suites (often thinly veiled sales pitches for overseas developments) to major 3 day exhibitions at NEC or London’s excel centre, which attract thousands of visitors.
So which property exhibitions are worth going to? And do you need to go at all?
We would recommend that if you are considering investing in a foreign country or even contemplating residential or commercial property investment for the first time, going to a property exhibition is an excellent way to research the market. You can get a feel for the services offered by anything from solicitors, to lawyers, to developers to lenders. There are also a range of interesting services including furniture loan, architectural advisors, property investment clubs, specialist advisors and much more.
