Overseas expos can be fun

Look in the national newspaper, look at the posters and look in your local paper and there seems to be so many overseas property exhibitions. So which overseas property exhibitions are the best, which are the most relevant? And why on earth should you go to one?

Well the reason there are so many exhibitions is because 500,000 Britons own overseas property and this is growing at a huge rate. Secondly the overseas property market is very lucrative for agents and other companies such as Foreign currency exchanges, lawyers, International removal firms, relocation agents and overseas employment agencies. The reason for going to these exhibitions is because it is an excellent way to see all of the firms in one place. Remember though that each firm will have paid between £2,000 and £25,000 to have stands at these show and they will be wanting to gain new customers (thats you!) and get a return for their investment in the exhibition.

The big exhibitions are a Place in the Sun live (last one was in October 2004 ) and Homes Overseas Exhibition (they have three of these shows in February in Glasgow, Manchester and London)
