How do I find if there are good schools in the area?
Ok so you may not have kids, and therefore you are thinking why do I need to know about schools? Think again, you may want to stay in the area and have a family yourself or you may want to sell your property to a family in 5 years time. However by knowing where the catchments area for good schools is will help you work out where the hotspots are. Being in a good school catchment area is one of the major reasons why similar properties will be valued more highly in one area compared to another.
So how do you find out where the good schools are?
Simple really got to Ofsted’s website, it is brilliant, you can download each ofsted report for individual schools, check out league tables and do much more.
